The Bacchae

Working with third-year Columbia MFA Directing candidate Robin Erikson, I was a part of a wild twenty-woman chorus in Columbia's annual staged reading of the classic Greek tragedy "The Bacchae." But this was no ordinary staged reading of a Greek play: choreography, costume, and song filled the chorus' role, including a full three-part harmony rendition of Kander and Ebb's classic "Cabaret." What an adventure!

"The bacchae runs with flying feet, SHE LEAPS!"
