Special Skill: Single Sword!

Training with the best makes you the best, I always say! This month, I've been lucky enough to attend a Stage Combat class with Master Fight Teacher, J. Allen Suddeth. J. Allen's most recent work includes the original combat of both Aladdin and Newsies! The class focuses on Single Sword, a swashbuckling, flashy style of swordfighting with lots of jumping, slashing, and spinning! I'll be testing for certification in the weapon at the end of March. If I pass, it will mark my third Stage Combat certification from the Society of American Fight Directors: the other two are Small Sword (rather like fencing) and Unarmed (punches, slaps, and falls!).
