Directed by Louisa Proske (MFA Yale Drama), Shannon appeared as the title character in Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s "The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant". A production at the Lee Strasberg Institute also featuring Celine Held, Eileen Sugameli, Hannah Rosen, Stefani Estep-Gozalo, and Victoria Ng, The Bitter Tears opened this past March to much celebration at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre in New York City
